Convincing investors to pump money into your startup is one of the most challenging things you’ll have to do. It makes sense, right? People don’t exactly like departing from their hard-earned money.

But before you can even get to the closing part, you first need to let investors know that you exist.

Truth be told, startups that offer “unique” solutions are a dime a dozen. To truly stand out, you need to do two things: combine various marketing tactics, and choose the ones that actually deliver results.

During my career, I’ve helped numerous startups attract investors through smart marketing. I’ll share five tactics that delivered the best results with you.

Cold Emailing

Cold emailing is emailing people you haven’t been in contact with yet. It’s a great strategy for startups that want to choose their investors, rather than the other way around.

Instead of waiting for potential investors to reach out to you, you can actively seek and find the ones that would be the best fit.
